'ABT16373A, yüksek kapasitif veya nispeten düşük empedanslı yükleri sürmek için özel olarak tasarlanmış 3 durumlu çıkışlara sahip 16 bit şeffaf D tipi mandallardır.Arabellek kayıtları, G/Ç bağlantı noktaları, çift yönlü veri yolu sürücüleri ve çalışma kayıtları uygulamak için özellikle uygundurlar.
Bu cihazlar iki adet 8 bitlik mandal veya bir adet 16 bitlik mandal olarak kullanılabilir.Mandal etkinleştirme (LE) girişi yüksek olduğunda, Q çıkışları veri (D) girişlerini takip eder.LE düşük alındığında, Q çıkışları D girişlerinde ayarlanan seviyelerde kilitlenir.
Sekiz çıkışı normal mantık durumuna (yüksek veya düşük mantık seviyeleri) veya yüksek empedans durumuna yerleştirmek için arabelleğe alınmış bir çıkış etkinleştirme (OE) girişi kullanılabilir.Yüksek empedans durumunda, çıkışlar bus hatlarını önemli ölçüde yüklemez veya sürmez.Yüksek empedans durumu ve artırılmış sürücü, arabirim veya çekme bileşenlerine ihtiyaç duymadan veri yolu hatlarını çalıştırma yeteneği sağlar.
OE, mandalın dahili işlemlerini etkilemez.Çıkışlar yüksek empedans durumundayken eski veriler tutulabilir veya yeni veriler girilebilir.
VCC 0 ile 2,1 V arasında olduğunda, güç açma veya kapatma sırasında cihaz yüksek empedans durumundadır.Ancak, 2,1 V'un üzerinde yüksek empedans durumunu sağlamak için, OE, bir çekme direnci aracılığıyla VCC'ye bağlanmalıdır;direncin minimum değeri, sürücünün akım kesme kapasitesi ile belirlenir.
